Rob has had another very busy and eventful year, mainly touring yet again with Marianne Faithfull, including ecstatically received performances at Ronnie Scott’s club, The Roundhouse and a special concert in the re-opening week of The Bataclan in Paris a year after the appalling events of November 2015. All the live work Rob and band did with Marianne over the previous two years was encapsulated in a specially released live album and DVD “No Exit” in September, compiled from various performances around Europe over that period.
Meanwhile Rob found time to produce debut albums for London based band Marine, Danish band Baby in Vain & a third album for Torres (whose last album “Sprinter” Rob produced in 2014) and which are all set to be released in 2017.
While doing that he has found time to form a new band “Paradise” with Marianne Faithfull bandmate Rob McVey and Sivert Hoyem ex of Madrugada that Rob worked with in 2004 on that band’s “Grit” album.
